On October 15, the SHACMAN Group Worldwide Partnership Conference & GlobeFest opened in Xi’an, China, under the theme “Next Move, Next Horizon.” Focusing on global customers’ key priorities — transport efficiency and operating costs — SHACMAN joined forces with industry-chain partners, including Weichai, Cummins, FAST and Hande, to showcase a comprehensive portfolio of vehicles, powertrains, key components and integrated new energy solutions. The event highlighted SHACMAN’s progress in globalization and demonstrated its commitment to providing customers worldwide with more choices to reduce fuel consumption, improve operational efficiency and lower maintenance costs.
Expanding the Product Portfolio to Meet Diverse Market Needs
Products remain the foundation of value creation. Building on its strengths in the heavy-duty truck segment, SHACMAN is expanding its presence in medium- and light-duty trucks, mining trucks, special-purpose vehicles and new energy vehicles. By continuously enriching its product portfolio and extending its market coverage, SHACMAN aims to help dealers explore new business opportunities while enabling customers to reduce the total cost of ownership (TCO) throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
A total of 94 vehicles are on display at the event, covering diesel, battery-electric, hybrid and hydrogen fuel-cell technologies. The lineup spans light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks, mining trucks and special-purpose vehicles, addressing diverse transport needs across long-haul logistics, urban distribution and mining operations in overseas markets.
Guided by its localized product customization strategy, SHACMAN continues to accelerate product development and iteration to meet the specific requirements of different markets. Three all-new platforms — the X6000S, X5000S and H5000 — made their debut at the event. The exhibition also featured upgraded products tailored to markets including Indonesia, Guinea and Saudi Arabia, alongside new diesel and battery-electric models for the European Union market, demonstrating SHACMAN’s commitment to delivering solutions aligned with regional operating conditions and customer expectations.

Strengthening Industry-Chain Collaboration to Enhance Vehicle Performance
Close collaboration across the industry chain is essential to translating technological innovation into tangible customer value. At the conference, SHACMAN’s partners presented a series of flagship products, including Weichai’s high-thermal-efficiency H-platform powertrain and ET200 battery, Cummins’ M13 Euro VI engine, FAST’s K-series automated manual transmission (AMT), and Hande’s comprehensive range of axle solutions.
These products will receive priority matching with SHACMAN vehicles and undergo integrated calibration, enabling powertrain and component technologies to be optimized at the vehicle level. Through closer coordination in product development and system integration, SHACMAN and its partners aim to deliver heavy-duty truck solutions that offer improved efficiency, reliability and overall operating value for customers in global markets.

Advancing New Energy and Lightweighting for Lifecycle Cost Savings
Innovation in new energy technologies and lightweight materials is creating new opportunities to improve vehicle efficiency and reduce lifecycle operating costs.
The X6000e 4×2 battery-electric tractor truck offers a driving range of 400 km, with battery swapping completed in approximately five minutes. At an Indonesian mining site, tests of the X5000 8×4 hybrid dump truck demonstrated fuel savings of 25%–35% compared with conventional diesel vehicles under charge-sustaining operating conditions. In addition, SHACMAN launched its “transporte” new energy full-lifecycle solution, extending its service offering beyond vehicles to encompass energy supply and operational services.
SHACMAN is also advancing lightweight vehicle design to improve transport efficiency. Through the application of 12 key lightweight structural components, including an innovative magnesium-alloy lightweight frame and wheel rims, vehicle weight is reduced by more than 500 kg, with fuel savings of 0.4–0.7 L per 100 km. These measures help customers increase payload potential while reducing fuel consumption and operating costs, subject to applicable vehicle configurations and operating conditions.
Creating Sustainable Value Through Collaborative Innovation
From enhancing individual component performance to optimizing complete vehicle systems, SHACMAN continues to place vehicle-level requirements at the center of collaborative innovation across the industry chain. By integrating the strengths of its partners and advancing product development, system calibration, new energy technologies and lightweight design, SHACMAN is translating technological progress into practical improvements in energy efficiency, reliability and operating economy.
Looking ahead, SHACMAN will continue to deepen collaboration with global industry partners, expand its product portfolio and strengthen its localized market capabilities, delivering more efficient, reliable and cost-effective transport solutions to customers worldwide.
