Kathmandu, Nepal — October 1, 2026 — The SHACMAN X5000e electric heavy-duty truck was officially launched in Nepal on October 1 under the theme “A New Leap Forward for Electric Drive.” More than 200 representatives from dealers, customers and the media attended the event, witnessing an important milestone in SHACMAN’s expansion of new-energy commercial vehicles in the Nepalese market.

The event featured an authorization signing and unveiling ceremony, officially establishing SHACMAN’s local partner as an authorized dealer in Nepal. The two parties will work together to develop the country’s electric commercial vehicle market and provide customers with comprehensive new-energy transportation solutions.
Designed for Nepal’s Challenging Terrain
With abundant hydropower resources and growing demand for sustainable transportation, Nepal offers significant potential for the electrification of heavy-duty vehicles.
Designed specifically with local operating conditions in mind, the SHACMAN X5000e is engineered to meet the demands of Nepal’s mountainous terrain, steep gradients and heavy-load applications. The vehicle combines a market-proven chassis with an integrated three-electric system, fast-charging capability and an intelligent fleet management system.
To provide customers with greater confidence in long-term operation, the X5000e is backed by an 8-year battery warranty and a 5-year warranty for the motor and controller, helping reduce concerns related to vehicle operation and maintenance.
Under full-load mountain-road conditions, the X5000e dumper achieves an average energy consumption of approximately 1.7–1.8 kWh per kilometre on a round trip. Combined with regenerative braking, its electric powertrain can deliver significant operating-cost advantages compared with conventional diesel heavy-duty trucks.

Built for Real-World Applications
At the launch event, the X5000e was officially unveiled and its market price announced. Guests were also invited to inspect the vehicle and experience its performance firsthand.
Targeting key applications including mining, construction and logistics, SHACMAN will continue to develop full-scenario new-energy heavy-duty vehicle solutions tailored to the needs of the Nepalese market.
As part of its local market strategy, SHACMAN will also strengthen its support ecosystem through the development of a local spare-parts network, technical training and joint marketing initiatives, providing customers with comprehensive support throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
Driving a Greener Future
The launch of the X5000e marks another step forward in SHACMAN’s global new-energy strategy and its commitment to advancing sustainable commercial transportation.
Leveraging Nepal’s green-transition momentum and abundant renewable-energy resources, SHACMAN will continue introducing innovative electric heavy-duty products and solutions to the Nepalese market, helping customers achieve more efficient and sustainable transportation operations.
